The coin is made of silver, with a total weight of 26.73 grams. Its diameter is 38 millimeters.

The obverse of the coin depicts the left profile of Liberty, wearing a radiant crown. The legend "LIBERTY" is inscribed above the head, while the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST" appears to the right. The year of issue, 1923, is engraved at the bottom.

The reverse of the coin illustrates an eagle perched on a rock, holding an olive branch, a symbol of peace. The rising sun is visible in the background. The legend "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" is inscribed at the top, and the motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM" appears just above the eagle. The face value "ONE DOLLAR" is engraved at the bottom.
