Rama VII, also known as King Prajadhipok, was the seventh king of the Chakri dynasty in Thailand. He was born on November 8, 1893, and ascended to the throne in 1925 after the death of his brother, King Rama VI. His reign was marked by political tensions and social unrest, including the Siamese Revolution of 1932, which led to the abolition of absolute monarchy in Thailand. Rama VII eventually abdicated in 1935 in favor of his nephew, Rama VIII, and lived abroad until his death in 1941.
