Edge: striated and inscribed with "EINIGKEIT UND RECHT UND FREIHEIT" (unity, justice and freedom) followed by the German eagle. The front features the portraits of Charles de Gaules and Konrad Adenauer, accompanied by their signatures. As the design is shared by France and Germany, the inscription "Traité de l'Élysée 50 ans" is written in French and German.
