In 2017, the Monnaie de Paris issued a collection of coins at Face Value presenting France by Jean Paul Gaultier.

Cities, provinces, or regions seen through the creative eye of Jean Paul Gaultier are featured on 24 pieces of 10€ Silver. Two pieces of non-colored 50€ Silver, two pieces of colored 50€ Silver, and the 200€ Gold note presenting the strong symbols of France complete this collection.

 

The Monnaie de Paris strikes these coins born from the artistic collaboration between its master engravers and the House of Jean Paul Gaultier.

 

The first wave available at the end of March 2017 will comprise 12 pieces of 10€ Silver 333‰ with a diameter of 31 mm and a weight of 17 g in uncirculated minting (UNC). It also includes 2 pieces of 50€ Silver 900‰, one non-colored featuring the "14th of July" and the other colored "Rooster in sailor stripes," as well as a 200€ Proof Gold 999‰ "France"."
