The year 2022 marks two major European events. The first of January 2022 marks the 20th anniversary of the introduction of the euro, which replaced the franc and became the European currency of the member countries of the euro zone.  This miniset commemorates this event: 20 years of the euro. It contains the 8 French circulating coins, dated 2022 and minted in Brillant Universel quality.

Minted in a limited edition of 500, this miniset contains the new €1 and €2 coins designed by Joaquin Jiménez Graveur Général de la Monnaie de Paris. The new €1 coin is produced exclusively for this series and for the BE 2022 series.
