Description

Obverse: The coin features "La Semeuse," an iconic female figure of the French Republic, created by the engraver Oscar Roty (1846-1911). Roty was a renowned French medalist and sculptor, known for his intricate and symbolic designs. In this depiction, La Semeuse is shown sowing seeds to the wind, symbolizing fertility and the labor of the land.
