For the second commemorative 2 euro coin, the Principality will be commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of women's right to vote in Andorra. In fact, it was not until 1970 that the Council of the Earth granted this right following a pressure movement at the end of the 1960s. However, it was not until 1973 that women were also able to stand for elective office.

The coin depicts a female face with locks of hair made up of female first names. The coin's design is quite original and well-balanced. A print run of just 60,000 is planned for this coin.

Edge lettering: striated and inscribed with a 2 followed by two stars, repeated six times, alternating obverse and reverse.
